Samsung lists the Galaxy S25 series and standard Tab S10 series for display connections, with important exceptions for FE and Lite models.
DeX for PC is a different feature. Samsung says it is unsupported on the S25 series and on devices released with or updated to One UI 7 or later. That restriction does not mean the same phone has lost every DeX television or monitor route.

A family name is not enough for accessory selection. Samsung’s compatibility table separates standard Tab S10 models from Tab S10 FE, FE+ and Lite for HDMI output and Wireless DeX.

The player still runs on the Galaxy device
A desktop-style screen does not turn an Android application into a Windows programme or a Samsung Tizen TV app. Use the mobile app’s requirements and supported external-display behavior. Its sign-in and playback controls may be presented differently in a resizable window.
If you instead install a player on the TV itself, the TV platform determines its package and account setup. Decide which device owns the application before following an installation guide.
Match the receiver protocol
Samsung documents Wireless DeX with compatible Samsung TVs or other Miracast display devices. A Google Cast button is not evidence of a Miracast receiver. Check the receiving display’s specification rather than relying on the general term smart TV.
A wired route needs an eligible Galaxy model and the correct display accessory. Use the display’s HDMI input and follow the device prompts. Avoid assuming that any USB cable connected to a computer launches the old DeX for PC workflow.
Describe the setup precisely
Include S25 Ultra or the complete Tab S10 variant, One UI version, cable or wireless route and the app that plays the media. A successful DeX desktop confirms the display connection; it does not prove service entitlement, video-output permission or a particular source format in every app.
