Know where a link can be copied
A pasted link can remain in chat history, clipboard tools, browser history, screenshots and documents. Link previews may also send it to another system. Use non-secret descriptions for help
Say “complete playlist link” or “server, username and password fields” and name the player. Describe the error and the relevant step without pasting the value. If a technician needs to compare the supplied method, first ask whether field labels or a redacted shape are enough. Do not assume that a long unfamiliar string is harmless because it is not labelled password.
Preserve the authorised original
Keep the delivery details in an appropriate protected location. When entering them into the intended player, preserve the supplied scheme, path and punctuation. Do not modify the host or attach a real account link to an unrelated tutorial. A malformed copy should be corrected from the private original, not reconstructed by searching for an alternative server.

If the link has escaped
Stop sharing it and contact the provider through the established route. Explain where it was disclosed and ask what replacement or invalidation is available. Deleting the public post is useful cleanup, but it does not prove that no copy remains. Update authorised devices only after the provider confirms the new details or appropriate next action.
