Driver crews share entries, and the championship includes one-hour races as well as longer two- and three-hour contests.
The 2026 programme has eight races across six events. Event and race are therefore different counts, while a driver’s current name is only part of a shared car’s identity.
Two class contests can share one circuit
GT3 and GT4 entries pursue their respective class results. A faster-class car passing another category does not necessarily change either class lead. Car number and class remain useful anchors as drivers change.
The weekend determines how qualifying is used
Four qualifying segments are separated by class and driver context. At two one-hour races, the relevant drivers’ individual best times establish the two grids. At a longer single race, the paired qualifying performances are combined. The event format therefore changes what a session result earns.
Pitstops are part of the sporting test
Every race has mandatory pit requirements, with three mandatory stops in the three-hour format. Minimum pit times and success or compensation adjustments can apply. The shortest visible stationary stop is not automatically the best legal stop.
Longer races have different points weight
Races of two hours or more award fifty percent additional finishing points compared with the one-hour scale. A weekend’s race count alone does not describe its points opportunity.

| One event, two races | Separate grids and results |
| GT3 / GT4 | Separate class positions |
| Driver change | Same car continues |
| Longer race | Different points weight |
Read class subcategories precisely
Pro/Am, Silver-Am and Silver Cup describe defined crew/class contexts. They are not interchangeable names for every GT3 or GT4 entry. Preserve the exact class and event duration when explaining a result, since the 2026 sporting changes are category-specific.
