A hypothetical viewer who opens a familiar-series channel midway through an episode may have reached the intended live outlet. That observation does not establish that the channel is broken or that it has selected the same episode as a search recommendation.

Use On Demand for a chosen title

Pluto’s help describes a separate details-page route for on-demand shows and movies. Search the exact programme and inspect the available seasons or episodes. A live channel carrying a series and an on-demand listing for that series are separate catalogue questions.

If the desired episode is not listed, check the current local offer rather than infer that every past or future episode is included. A channel schedule can change and an on-demand collection can have a different selection.

A profile organises the route you use

Pluto’s service information describes profiles for favourite live channels, watchlists and continuing selected viewing. Keep a favourite-channel entry for channel browsing and a programme entry for a specific title. Those shortcuts should preserve different purposes.
