NOW’s current terms distinguish entertainment, Cinema and several sports memberships. Start with the exact show, film or event and check the relevant current offer. A Cinema title and a sports stream need their own membership check rather than an assumption based on an entertainment login.

A hypothetical household can keep its required programmes grouped by the actual offer that carries them. That is more informative than describing every NOW purchase as one all-content subscription.

HBO Max access requires its own activation

For the relevant combined membership, follow NOW’s documented activation route to create or link the intended HBO Max account. A valid NOW login and an activated HBO Max benefit are different states. Keep the linked account and billing provider clear.

If a partner such as a TV provider sold the package, use the route documented for that seller. An already active entitlement should be investigated before starting another unrelated direct subscription.

Basic with Ads has a particular movie scope

HBO Max’s current UK plan help says Basic with Ads excludes films in their first HBO Max streaming window following cinema release. It distinguishes that tier from Standard with Ads and describes an eligible provider upgrade. Check the actual film and account before interpreting a locked title.

A hypothetical viewer may successfully watch a series while a newly streaming film remains outside the Basic tier. That is a plan-scope question, not proof that the entire activation failed. Keep the exact title offer with any support request.

Read the current membership term and renewal conditions before confirming a price. A minimum-term offer and a flexible arrangement are different commitments. Retain the chosen product, linked benefits and final confirmation rather than combine a headline from one offer with the conditions of another.
