Mediaset Infinity Spain: the service that replaced Mitele

Follow the Spanish Mitele-to-Mediaset Infinity transition and understand why a paid pack cannot restore an absent programme.

Mediaset España launched Mediaset Infinity in June 2025 as the evolution of Mitele. Its announcement also described the paid offering as Infinity+. Use the Spanish service and its current help centre when following an older Mitele recommendation; the same wider brand name appears in other markets with different offers.

Follow the Spanish service’s current identity

The Spanish operator’s announcements describe a broader viewing experience with free and paid material. The former Mitele web route now points viewers towards that current identity. An old logo or bookmarked name can therefore remain a useful discovery clue without describing the service’s current product name.

When comparing a subscription, use the current Spanish purchase screen and the exact pack. Do not import an Italian Infinity offer or a historic Mitele Plus package merely because a search result uses a similar brand. The operator and market are part of the product identification.

A missing programme is different from a locked one

The current Spanish help centre explains that the visible catalogue is shared across users. A paid pack unlocks the programmes assigned to that pack; it does not reveal a separate hidden catalogue of missing titles. A series absent from search may instead have an availability or rights explanation.

This distinction can prevent an unnecessary purchase. First locate the exact series, episode or programme. If it is present but locked, read the pack requirement. If it is absent, investigate that absence with support rather than buying a pack in the hope that the programme will appear.

Location can change the viewing result

The service maintains separate guidance for content unavailable in a viewer’s region. A programme visible in a recommendation is not evidence of international playback rights. Check the current local listing and the relevant offer before arranging overseas viewing.

For a hypothetical family comparing results in Spain and another country, keep the programme and episode identical and note the region message. The useful support request states the Spanish service, account offer, title and location. It does not need a second account purchase to make the situation clearer; it needs the correct explanation of the title’s current availability.
