Find the actual programme offerGO and discovery+ are different productsPartner subscriptions have their own player routediscovery+ brings factual and reality programming from brands such as Discovery, HGTV, Food Network and TLC into a subscription service. This reference uses current US help. The same branding can appear in other countries under different offers or operators, so country remains part of the product identity.
Find the actual programme offer
Search the exact show, season and episode. A programme’s association with a Discovery network is useful discovery information, while its current listing answers whether the required item is offered. Do not turn the network’s overall output into a promise that every episode is in the subscription.
A hypothetical viewer following a food series should inspect the intended season rather than choose a subscription solely because the network logo is present. A selected clip or trailer is also different from the full episode.
GO and discovery+ are different products
The US help distinguishes GO apps, which use eligible television-provider access, from the separately subscribed discovery+ service. A TV provider carrying a Discovery network does not by itself describe an active discovery+ subscription. Conversely, discovery+ should not be treated as a replacement login for every GO app.
Keep the app name and entitlement route together when opening a programme. That makes an account question specific enough to resolve without trying the same credentials indiscriminately.
Partner subscriptions have their own player route
discovery+ says certain third-party channel purchases must be watched within the platform where they were purchased. Read the current help entry for that seller before opening the standalone app. Billing management likewise follows the party shown in the subscription record.
For a household guide, record country, seller and player beside the programme. This is especially relevant across markets: the current help states that WBD’s Canadian service closed on 17 February 2026 and points to a new Rogers-operated Canadian discovery+ service. US account instructions should not be exported to that different arrangement.
Use current local help when an offer changes, and retain the exact purchase confirmation privately. An old app icon or saved password is not a complete account record.
