Describe the action preciselyCreate a confirmation worksheetUse variables until the answer existsKeep the quote conditional where necessaryDream’s published packages establish the price of purchased credits. They do not, in the supplied evidence, establish how many credits a particular account term, renewal or device arrangement consumes. Obtain that mapping before turning a credit package into a customer-price or capacity claim.
Describe the action precisely
Ask about a new account versus renewal, the selected term and the relevant permitted account configuration. A broad question such as “how many lines?” may hide several different actions. Ask whether the displayed deduction can vary and how a failed or corrected action is recorded, without presuming a credit return policy.
Create a confirmation worksheet
Keep the question, provider answer, effective date and source reference together. Include expiry and permitted use as separate fields rather than guessing them from a unit rate.
| Field | What to record |
|---|---|
| Action | Exact proposed account or renewal operation |
| Term/configuration | The specific offer being considered |
| Credit consumption | Provider-confirmed quantity or pending |
| Effective date | When the answer applies |
| Other conditions | Expiry, permissions and correction process if confirmed |
Use variables until the answer exists
For a planning calculation, let c be confirmed credits consumed and r be the relevant purchased-credit cost. The direct credit-cost input is c × r. If c is unknown, leave the result uncalculated. Filling in one credit per month, one credit per account or another familiar convention would create an unsupported business assumption.
Keep the quote conditional where necessary
If you cannot confirm a material input, explain that the final action and price require clarification. Do not publish a number of subscriptions supposedly included in a package. Maintain the mapping when the provider changes the offer, and recheck the applicable action before reusing an old customer quote.
Questions about this guide
Can another provider’s credit rule fill the gap?
No. A convention used elsewhere does not establish Dream’s account rules. Use the actual provider confirmation for the exact action. Record the source and date so a later quote can be checked against the rule that was applicable when it was prepared.
