Identify what you opened at home
Record whether the programme was watched through the live guide, Replay, Restart, on demand or a saved recording. A title and channel can appear in more than one context. Successful playback in one mode does not establish the other modes’ travel availability.
A hypothetical traveller may remember watching yesterday’s programme but not whether it was Replay or a recording. Resolve that detail before treating the two as equivalent archive copies.
Read the Swiss country entry
Zattoo’s current travel help says recordings can be streamed abroad under its conditions, while Swiss live TV, Replay, Restart and on-demand modes are not available outside Switzerland. The Replay guide separately confirms the Swiss territorial restriction.
Do not replace this with a general claim that every paid Zattoo feature travels. Other account countries have different entries, so keep the Swiss scope attached to this result.

Prepare through the documented route
The travel guidance lists requirements such as an active eligible subscription and preparing the supported app at home. Inspect the current list for the actual account and destination. Do not assume a login created during a trip establishes the same eligibility.
For an explicitly hypothetical journey, a viewer can identify an actual recording before departure and note the relevant current rules. That is more precise than adding a programme to a general list and assuming it becomes portable.
Keep rights questions separate from missing-account questions
If Replay is unavailable, Zattoo’s troubleshooting help also recommends checking the signed-in account and active plan. Those checks matter at home, but they do not remove an explicit Swiss travel limitation. Preserve the location and mode when assessing the result.
A hypothetical active subscriber abroad can therefore have a valid account and still encounter a mode restriction. Repeatedly buying another tier without checking the country entry would leave the actual question unresolved.
Record the exact observation for support
Keep the account country, current location, programme, selected mode and message. Distinguish a recording that fails within its documented route from a Replay item unavailable abroad. This gives support a concrete question and prevents one travel success from being extended to every channel and viewing feature. Capture the displayed message while the affected viewing mode is still selected.
