PTV is a public-information reference
People’s Television Network identifies PTV as its broadcast brand and describes a news and public-information role. Keep PTV with the programme title when that is the intended broadcaster. It should not be confused with a similar public-television abbreviation from another country.
A public-information programme and a commercial entertainment series can both concern the Philippines while serving different viewing purposes. A country folder is useful for grouping them but does not replace the individual service identity.
GMA’s international services have distinct roles
GMA International describes GMA Pinoy TV as its flagship international service and GMA Life TV through a lifestyle and information-oriented programme mix. Its own digital references also name GMA News TV International. Preserve the complete brand rather than shortening all three to GMA.
An international audience purpose does not establish an exact simultaneous domestic copy. For a serial, retain the original title and episode; for news, retain the edition and current service schedule.
English and Filipino programme versions
GMA’s international description discusses English and Filipino content and English-dubbed dramas within its broader offering. That does not mean every episode has both audio choices in every transmission. A dubbed edition is a specific programme version.
A hypothetical household may want Filipino dialogue for one series and an English-dubbed edition of another. Specify the title and desired audio version separately. A familiar programme poster or national origin cannot settle the available version.
A named-platform agreement has a limited context
Broadcasters publish international distribution announcements for particular platforms and regions. Such an announcement establishes that stated arrangement, not every provider’s line-up.
Use official broadcaster information to identify the service and production. Confirm the actual access route independently, with the exact title, episode or live edition in view. This guide does not turn a GMA or PTV identity into a package-inclusion promise.
