A Spanish-language country label cannot represent all of those programme needs.
IRTP is the institution; the service names are more specific
Peru’s official institutional information identifies TVPerú, TVPerú Noticias, TVPerú Internacional, Canal IPe and Radio Nacional within IRTP. A general reference to IRTP therefore does not identify a single live channel.
Keep the exact service when following a programme. TVPerú Noticias is a different editorial reference from a children’s programme on Canal IPe, even when both belong to the same public institution.
Named language programmes preserve an important distinction
IRTP’s 2026 reporting identifies Ñuqanchik with Quechua and Jiwasanaka with Aymara. TVPerú’s programme guide also describes Ashi Añane as a bilingual intercultural magazine in Asháninka. These are concrete programme identities, not interchangeable versions of a generic Spanish bulletin.
If the language is central, retain the original title and episode or edition. A programme’s national origin, cultural subject and spoken language are different attributes. None should be guessed solely from the other two.
An international service has its own programme reference
TVPerú Internacional is separately named in the institution’s service family. A viewer abroad should not assume every domestic transmission or episode appears there at the same time. A current international schedule or programme page is the appropriate reference.
A hypothetical household seeking a Quechua bulletin and a documentary about a coastal city has two different programme needs. A broad Peruvian folder can group both while preserving their specific identities.
IRTP Play and a linear channel are different levels
IRTP describes its digital destination as bringing television and radio services together. A programme found there can identify a title without establishing what is playing on every linear service.
For news, preserve the language edition and date; for a magazine, preserve the episode; for a live event, preserve the actual announced service. The institutional sources establish content identities and do not establish an external subscription’s carriage or programme rights.
