A search result in that environment needs its media type as well as its title.
The first channel and sports reference
JRTV’s current site identifies the First Channel and Sports Channel, alongside programme destinations for tourism, drama, comedy, archives, food and music. The broadcaster’s interface therefore contains more than a simple list of identical full-day television channels.
Keep the exact label and programme title. A drama category or archive destination can help locate content without necessarily naming a separate linear service with the same schedule structure as the First Channel.
English Radio does not mean English television
The official site separately names English Radio among its radio offerings. That is an important media-type distinction. An English-language audio destination should not be presented as evidence of a current English television channel.
A person wanting English spoken news on television should identify the actual television programme or edition. A person happy with radio has a different access need. The national broadcaster’s shared website does not make those schedules or formats interchangeable.
An archive programme is not automatically live
JRTV distinguishes live broadcasting from its video library. A remembered series can be useful to identify through the library while still requiring a separate current schedule if the request concerns a live transmission.
For a hypothetical family seeking an older drama, the series title and episode are central. For a household following a national bulletin, the current edition and date are central. Both can use the same broadcaster without needing the same destination.
Use original titles and exact event details
Keep Arabic programme titles where possible, with a practical transliteration as an additional clue. A broad English genre description may match many programmes and lose the exact production.
For a fixture, ceremony or tourism event, retain the date and the broadcaster’s actual announcement. The presence of a sports or tourism label does not establish rights to every event or availability through an unrelated subscription. Programme identity and access remain separate questions.
