A shared transmission resource can also carry more than one brand, making the dated schedule important.
Use the regulator’s current names
Hungary’s media authority identifies public services including M1, M2, M4 Sport, M5, Duna and Duna World in current institutional records. Preserve the full name rather than reducing every entry to Hungarian public television.
A number is part of the service brand, not a promise of the same position inside every guide. M4 Sport also needs to remain distinct from M4 Sport+ when a programme listing uses the latter.
Duna World and M4 Sport+ share a resource
The regulator’s 2026 public-service list states that Duna World and M4 Sport+ operate with divided airtime on the same resource. This is a specific reason a combined guide label can be meaningful rather than automatically erroneous.
A viewer should compare the actual dated programme before treating one label as a duplicate of the other. A shared resource does not mean every programme has both editorial identities simultaneously.
Programme and service still need to be matched
A person seeking a Duna World cultural programme and a person seeking a particular sports fixture have different interests. If a combined label appears, retain the programme title and start time as published instead of assuming an all-day genre from one part of the name.
For a sports event, use the actual fixture and broadcaster announcement. The presence of M4 Sport or M4 Sport+ in an institutional list does not establish rights to every competition or availability through another subscription.
Keep Hungarian titles and edition details
The original title is a useful reference for a series, documentary or current-affairs programme. Add an episode or date, particularly when the same subject appears in repeats or special editions.
A current regulator list establishes the service structure. A broadcaster schedule establishes the transmission. A provider confirmation establishes access. Treating those evidence roles separately avoids turning a real shared-slot arrangement into an invented package promise.
