RTI Play’s current descriptions make the editorial differences useful to viewers choosing family programming, music or sport.
RTI 2 has a family and social-life emphasis
RTI Play describes RTI 2 through family, women’s interests and social life, with magazines, series and entertainment. That remit helps distinguish it from a generic rolling-news request or a music-focused programme.
The full name matters. RTI identifies the broadcaster, while the numbered or named service identifies the editorial destination. A programme title and episode are still needed to identify a particular production.
La 3 is a named service, not merely a guide position
RTI Play describes La 3 with music and sport alongside magazines, series, talk shows and specialist information. Preserve La 3 as a brand rather than assuming it is simply whichever entry appears third in another provider’s list.
Côte d’Ivoire’s audiovisual regulator separately identifies RTI 1, RTI 2 and La 3 in its television documentation. Its published numbering context should not be silently extended to every guide outside that stated system.
RTI Play groups live, replay and radio content
RTI’s own app description identifies RTI Play as a centralized destination for television, radio and replay content. A programme tile, live service and radio destination therefore answer different media needs even when they appear together.
A hypothetical household following a family series and a music magazine should retain both original titles and the actual service. A broad Ivorian entertainment label can group them but cannot resolve the episode or current transmission.
Match sport and performance at event level
A music or sports remit does not establish the broadcaster for every performance or fixture. For a live event, retain the participants, date and current official programme announcement. For an edited magazine or repeat, identify that format explicitly.
These references describe Ivorian public-service identities and their digital destination. They do not establish another subscription’s line-up, automatic replay support or international programme rights.
