Start with the symptom
Check actual source detail before changing television sharpness. A 4K screen can display a lower-resolution source.
On Windows PC, begin with a precise description of when the symptom occurs. Keep one source and one account selected, then change one part of the setup. That makes the result useful to both you and support.
Checks for Windows PC
Record the operating system, player version, display and audio output. A browser session, native media player and Android environment are different playback routes. Keep the tested route unchanged while narrowing the symptom.
| Part of the setup | Check on Windows PC |
|---|---|
| App and installation | Use a reputable Windows application or a supported browser route. Confirm whether the download is an installer, a portable app or an Android APK. |
| Controls | Check keyboard navigation, fullscreen controls, display scaling and the player’s selected output device. |
| Connection | Inspect the actual Ethernet or Wi-Fi adapter. Pause large downloads for one controlled comparison. |
| Playback | Compare hardware acceleration and the default decoder in the chosen player. Keep the same file or live source while testing. |
Work through the checks in order
- Compare another quality edition
Use a reputable Windows application or a supported browser route. Confirm whether the download is an installer, a portable app or an Android APK.
- Check player source information if available
Check keyboard navigation, fullscreen controls, display scaling and the player’s selected output device.
- View at the usual distance
Inspect the actual Ethernet or Wi-Fi adapter. Pause large downloads for one controlled comparison.
- Inspect device output resolution
Compare hardware acceleration and the default decoder in the chosen player. Keep the same file or live source while testing.
- Compare a stable local reference clip
Do not open firewall ports or disable Windows protection simply because a player cannot authenticate.
Read the result
| Observed result | Next action |
|---|---|
| Only one feed looks soft | source detail |
| All apps look soft | device or TV settings |
| Quality drops during congestion | inspect delivery |
Repeat only the comparison that changed the result. If a setting made no difference, restore it before trying the next step. Keep the source label, approximate time and player version with your notes.
Before making a larger change
Do not open firewall ports or disable Windows protection simply because a player cannot authenticate.
A factory reset, complete account deletion or router-wide change is a much larger action than restarting a player. Keep those actions outside this sequence unless the responsible support team identifies a clear reason and recovery path.
Get the right support
Use WhatsApp support and describe the device, operating system, player version, account method, network type and time zone. Say whether one feed, one title, one group or the whole account is affected.
Keep usernames, passwords, full playlist links, device keys and payment evidence out of public screenshots. If support needs an account identifier, provide it privately through the established conversation. Do not send bank-card numbers in the order or help form.
