Start with the important distinction
HEVC is also known as H.265. The format needs compatible decoding in the player and device. A source’s resolution and its codec are separate attributes.
Put the information to use
A 4K display can show lower-resolution material and can upscale it, but upscaling does not add the original source detail. High motion also depends on frames and cadence. Start with a stable source and change one setting at a time. A service name or poster is not a technical measurement of the delivered stream. Compare the real account on the real device.

A short practical checklist
- Record the exact setup
Include the device or panel, app, account method and the specific question this page helps answer.
- Use the current record
Check the actual file, feed, price or panel action instead of a general promotional label.
- Compare one condition
Keep other settings unchanged and write down the result. Ask the appropriate support route about any unresolved condition.
